From Startup to Industry Leader
Amianthoid was founded in 2014 by Sarah Jenkins, Michael Tauwhare, and Emily Chen, three operational experts who saw a critical gap in the New Zealand business landscape. While working at one of the country's largest technology firms, they witnessed firsthand how poor team coordination and inefficient processes were holding back even the most innovative companies.
The trio began by consulting for small tech startups in Christchurch, helping them implement agile methodologies and streamline their operations. Their unique approach, which combined process optimization with team dynamics enhancement, quickly gained attention as client companies reported dramatic improvements in productivity and employee satisfaction.
By 2017, Amianthoid had expanded to serve clients across New Zealand, and today we're proud to have worked with over 120 organizations ranging from emerging startups to established enterprises. Our Christchurch headquarters, established in 2019, remains the center of our operations as we continue to grow our team of specialized consultants.
